Operations Technical Specialist, full‐time flexible‐hours role, salary range £20k‐£24k
The King’s Centre (Oxford) is large, multi‐purpose events centre seeking an Operations
Technical Specialist to help support its growing client base and volume of bookings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day‐to‐day technical operations of the Centre’s events business,
which broadly consists of four areas: managing information technology, audio‐visual infrastructure, and environmental
systems, and providing technical expertise to clients and staff.
This role requires a solid understanding of technology and the ability to learn, to troubleshoot, and to resolve problems
effectively, while providing excellent customer interaction and technical support of the staff team at The King’s Centre.
Event timings may from time to time require flexible working (evening, weekend, extended day).
This is initially a 12‐month contract with the intention to extend, subject to performance review. The application

Events (Catering/Venue) Team
This role is varied and shifts can involve any combination of catering service (simple refreshments through to sit-down dinner), kitchen support (washing up) and room set up and pack down. Some evening and weekend work are available depending on bookings.
The ability to work well as part of a team and follow instruction are essential. The work is often physically demanding, so a reasonable level of fitness is preferred.
